2022
RMW Accounting offers customised accounting, tax, and consulting services for individuals and businesses, focusing on tax strategy and financial planning. Founded during the COVID-19 pandemic, they provide support across the U.S. for clients at all stages of development — from startup; rapid growth and expansion; to transition.
Acting as the design lead and UX writer, I led the design and launch of RMW Accounting’s website, participating in several rounds of Maze user testing to finalise brand direction.

2021
Taxfyle provides online tax preparation, consultation, and bookkeeping services, connecting individuals, businesses, and firms with certified CPA and EA professionals.
As design lead, I co-designed and co-wrote this startup's new website. I played a key role in updating the brand style guide during a comprehensive rebranding initiative, aimed at strengthening their online market presence as the “Internet’s Accounting Workforce.”

2020
Co-designed Taxfyle’s first free income tax calculator, which helps users estimate their tax refund or liability, and considers various factors such as marital status, dependents, rental income, mortgage and student loan interest.
With it’s successful launch in 2020, the mobile app scored an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars on both the App Store and Google Play Store respectively.

2018
Trusted by over 200 CPA firms and 100,000 users, Taxfyle is a real-time tax filing app that connects you to a licensed tax professional within minutes.
I led the redesign and architecture of Taxfyle's native mobile app, earning a 4.7 out of 5 star app store rating at launch. The app has since been featured on FOX News, and has had several “App of the Day” features and promos.

2018
During an Adobe livestream held on March 13th, 2018, participants from all around the world were challenged to design a “Social Media app” with a minimum of 3 artboards/designs, using the provided Dark UI Kit.
Within the 2 hour submission period, I created DesignerInspo; a social media, and networking platform aimed at connecting designers together. This winning design was hand selected by internally recognised designer, Pablo Stanley, and has since been featured across multiple websites including Adobe Live, Gitu, PSD Repo, XD Guru and XD File with over 900 downloads combined.
2018
The South African Chef’s Academy offers internationally recognised City & Guilds Certifications, and strives to provide practical courses for chefs, by chefs, without the added extras that are not relevant to the kitchen.
As the freelanced designer responsible for this webpage design, I ensured that this singular landing page was packed to the brim with all the much needed course information, whilst establishing a timeless, brand aesthetic.
2017
PathPortal provides doctors with the ability to verify whether a valid lab test result already exists for a patient, before proceeding to order a new test; thereby saving Funders and patients millions of Rands per annum.
During my time at Sebrio, I utilised Google’s established Material Design framework to architect and design the entire responsive web platform. I also collaborated closely with developers to ensure pixel perfection, documented all designs and assisted in Quality Assurance (QA) testing where necessary.
2017
During the “Live UX Design with art director Sallie Harrison 1/3” live-stream held on September 12, 2017, participants globally were challenged to use Adobe XD to design and create a fictional app, with at least 3 artboards, based on the theme of “shopping”.
Within the 2 hour submission period, I designed the winning e-commerce app, that was hand picked by Product Designer, Sallie Harrison on Adobe Live, where the prize included a full year Adobe Creative Cloud license, worth approximately $600.
2014
C&M OrthoSports Inc offers New York State-accredited continuing education courses in physical therapy, based on a curriculum which emphasizes evidence-based medicine, expert clinical reasoning, and skills in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
As the designer responsible for their new website, I co-developed their responsive website with the help of a tech lead.
